We have compiled a list of resources we think may be helpful to the families we serve across East Tennessee. If you think there are other resources we should have listed on our site, please feel free to reach out to us with those suggestions.

Katie Beckett Program
Tennessee’s Katie Beckett program is for children under the age of 18 with disabilities or complex medical needs. This program is for children who are not Medicaid eligible because of their parent’s income or assets.
National Autism Association
The mission of the National Autism Association is to respond to the most urgent needs of the autism community, providing real help and hope so that all affected can reach their full potential.
Emory Valley
Provides funds to provide materials (sensory, toys, etc.), food (ex. Pouches for fruit and veggies, etc.), aid in repairs around home (ex. Repair door broken, oven, etc.), cost for extracurricular to provide social opportunities.
Autism Society of East TN
The Autism Society’s mission is to create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community with the resources needed to live fully. As the nation’s oldest leading grassroots Autism organization, the Autism Society and its 75 local affiliates serve over half a million members of the Autism community each year. It envisions a world where everyone in the Autism community is connected to the support they need, when they need it - including education, advocacy efforts, and supports and services throughout the lifespan. TN Choices Program
TennCare CHOICES in Long-Term Services and Supports is for adults (age 21+) with a physical disability and seniors (age 65+) CHOICES offers services to help a person live in their own home or in the community. These services can be provided in the home, on the job, or in the community to assist with daily living activities and allow people to work and be actively involved in their local community. CHOICES also provides care in a nursing home if this is needed
Vocational Rehabilitation
The Vocational Rehabilitation Program (VR) provides a variety of individualized services to persons
with disabilities in preparation for their employment in the competitive labor market. VR advocates
employment outcomes for customers that are consistent with their individual strengths, resources,
abilities, capabilities and informed choice.
Individualize Education Account Program
Providing parents with funds to help their child contact educational needs such as private school setting.
Autism Speaks
Search by zip code, find multiple programs available in the area for housing, food, medical, transportation, etc.
