Meet Our team

Chad Szala, BCBA
Executive Director / Owner

Chad Szala
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share more about our company and the amazing team we have. When I founded the company in 2017, I never imagined we’d be where we are today. After graduating from the University of South Florida and pursuing my BCBA, I moved to Knoxville with the vision of reaching clients in rural areas of TN who didn’t have access to services from traditional ABA companies. I began by working directly with a few clients, and over time, I found like-minded individuals who joined me on this journey.
I have a deep passion for working with kids and teens that others might not want to. The challenge of a “hard case” is something I truly enjoy, and there’s nothing more rewarding than witnessing the progress made through the hard work of our staff and families. I’m especially fascinated by helping non-vocal children and teens find their voices, whatever that may look like for them. I find the integration of ABA and technology exciting, particularly how AAC devices can empower communication in meaningful ways.
Beyond my passion for the kids and teens we serve, I’m committed to creating a work environment where people genuinely want to be. It may sound cliché, but I truly consider our team a family. My goal is to inspire them to push boundaries and reach their fullest potential. I see myself more as a coach than a boss, always finding creative ways to motivate them to do hard things. Mentoring others brings me immense fulfillment, especially when I see them succeed.
I absolutely love what I do, and the people I work with make it feel less like work. Outside of work, I unwind by practicing jujitsu, spending time with my dogs, and going on adventures with my wife.
